What we collect

When you use our price tool or contact us, we collect what you give us — your address and ZIP, optional home size, photos of your equipment and the details we read from them (brand, size, age, type), and your name, email, phone, and consent when you ask for your price. We also collect basic usage and device data through standard web analytics.

How we use it

To generate your estimate, to schedule and perform your repair, installation, or maintenance, to communicate with you about your project, and to operate and improve our service. That's it.

We don't sell your information

I Know A Guy AC is the contractor that serves you directly. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not broker your details to third-party lead buyers. We share information only with the service providers we use to run the business (for example, our scheduling software, email, and hosting) under contract, and only as needed to serve you or to comply with the law. We honor recognized opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) where applicable, and you can request access to or deletion of your information at any time.

Communications

If you provide a phone number and consent, you may receive calls or texts (including automated ones) from us about your project. Consent is not required to get your estimate, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP or asking us to remove you.

Retention & security

We keep your information as long as needed to provide our service and meet legal and warranty obligations, and we use reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
